NETWORK SYSTEMS International, Inc. (www.nesi.net) announced today that Lexington Fabrics of Florence, Alabama has recently purchased the net collection™ , NETWORK SYSTEMS' proprietary suite of enterprise software products developed for the textile and sewn products industry.Lexington Fabrics of Florence, AL manufactures casual apparel such as tee shirts and men's knitted golf shirts for sale and/or subsequent imprinting or embroidery to their network of distributors. Lexington Fabrics has had good success as a niche player with vertical manufacturing capabilities. Lexington Fabrics intends to maintain an aggressive implementation schedule. NETWORK SYSTEMS is based in Greensboro, North Carolina and has been in business since 1985. Throughout its history, the company has focused on the development of industry-specific software solutions, primarily for companies in Textiles, Hosiery, Home Fashions and Apparel. The current suite of 14 products, referred to as the net collection™ provides a single, fully integrated software solution for customer service, resource planning, manufacturing, distribution requirements. NETWORK SYSTEMS' new products include Internet-based access for off-shore manufacturing partners and enhanced executive visibility of sales trend analysis and production efficiency. Robbie M. Efird, CEO of NETWORK SYSTEMS commented: "We are excited to work with Lexington Fabrics and welcome them as a new customer. They have been successful in defining a niche, maintaining their low cost producer status while retaining the flexibility to respond to changes in the marketplace. We feel the structure of the net collection™ compliments Lexington Fabrics' vertical manufacturing environment and improves their ability to schedule production across an extended enterprise".
