NETWORK SYSTEMS SIGNS MERITAS YARNS TO SOFTWARE CONTRACT

NETWORK SYSTEMS International, Inc. announced today that it has recently signed Meritas Yarns of Columbus, GA. as a new customer for the net collection™ , NETWORK SYSTEMS' proprietary suite of enterprise software products developed for the textile and sewn products industry.

Meritas Yarns, of Columbus, GA is a privately-held specialty yarn manufacturer with two spinning plants. They are a significant producer of heather yarns and blended fibers for use in high fashion fabrics. The president of Meritas Yarns is A. Illges, Jr. a well respected veteran of the textile industry who is currently serving as this year's president of the Georgia Textile Manufacturer's Association (GTMA). Meritas Yarns has indicated their main objectives in implementing the net collection™ are to improve their real-time visibility of individual customer orders, including current delivery status. This overall commitment to increasing customer service levels has already contributed to Meritas Yarns' position as a leader in their industry.

NETWORK SYSTEMS is based in Greensboro, North Carolina and has been in business since 1985. Throughout its history, the company has focused on developing and providing on-going support for proprietary software systems, primarily for companies in Textiles, Hosiery, Home Fashions and Apparel. The current suite of 14 products, referred to as the net collection™ provides a single, fully integrated software solution for customer service, resource planning, manufacturing, and distribution requirements.
